Glitter Queen Blog Hop day 3

Thank you so much for visiting us this week.  I'm so excited to see that I have passed a milestone of 40,000 page views.  Just like yesterday you've probably arrived here from Dee's or you could be coming over from SUO challenge page.  I don't know about you but I gots to make me a sparkly owl.
Today's project is for the coffee lover.  When I first saw the set Perfect Blend in the new catalog I knew it would have to come live at my house.  While living here in Germany is wonderful I really miss running through a Starbucks to grab my favorite fall treat...Spiced Pumpkin Latte.  Sigh.  I have found a recipe on Pintrest to make it at home.  Last year my mom found me the Starbucks Via Pumpkin but it's not as good as the real thing.

The bag is from the Tag a Bag Gift bag.  Inside the bag is one dose of coffee and the fabric coffee sleeve.  The coffee sleeve is reversible and uses retired SU fabric and buttons.  The closure uses our new Ruffle Stretch Trim in Baked Brown Sugar.  The bag is closed with new ribbon also (Chevron in Pumpkin Pie).
I have made these coffee sleeves before after seeing some other SU Demos doing them.  I like my versions best and in the past I have used a hair tie for the elastic closure.  There are lots of free patterns on the internet for the coffee sleeve or you can just undo one of the cardboard ones and make your own pattern with a seam allowance.  I use 2 fabrics and quilt batting in the middle.
If you have any questions please leave me a comment.  I'm not a professional sewer but I can probably give you the steps if you want to make your own.

It's sad to say the hop is over but don't be too sad.  We'll be back later with a Thanksgiving and a Winter Hop.

If you've missed anyone today here again is the list of everyone.
or head back to the start...our wonderful upline Dawn.

See you soon! (Bis Spater)

For anyone who is curious Kindergarten is going well.  Thanks
