When I do I have a "go to" card design. This is it. A base cut from the scallop square die (now retired but replaced by the nesting square dies). Then a folded card (3 3/4 square) on top. An accent piece at the bottom and there you go. The stamp set I used for the main image is called slice of life and is retired. The sentiment is from sweet essentials. The color I used was Crisp Cantelope. It is a little hard to see but at the bottom edge of the accent piece at the bottom is some of the ruffle trim.
I did paper piecing and added dimensionals and made some hand made "hangers" out of jewelry wire. Paper piecing is one of my favorite techniques and that is the challenge this week over at SUO challenges.
So Thursday I made this card, crocheted two hats and made some cookies. All ready to take to work Friday morning for delivery. I wish I had taken photos of the finished hats and packaging but it was already 10pm.
Have a great day. Keep checking back as we will have our Thanksgiving hop coming soon.
Wow! What a busy gal you were on Thursday!! The card is absolutely PERFECT for a baby shower. Thanks for sharing with SUO Challenges.
