SUO challenge #77

I was so honored last week to be named top 3 on the SUO challenge for back to school cards so I thought I'd play again.  This card I made as a double challenge to myself - make a masculine birthday card.

The card base is Sahara Sand with a layer of Sweater Weather DSP (I love that name...mostly because I love sweater weather).  The tag is cut using the Chalk Talk die out of Crumb Cake CS.  I applied some of the Epic Day washi tape and then some  7/16" trim and a retired button tied with some linen thread.
The sentiment comes from the Sweet Essentials set.  The tag is popped up on dimensionals.
I did distress the card with a stamp from French Foliage and sponging.
I hope you've enjoyed today's card.  In a very short few weeks the Glitter Queens will be hopping again so stay tuned!

  1. Love your masculine birthday card!! The colors are terrific and the Chalk Talk tag with all of your details- washi tape, trim, button, and linen thread is perfect!! Thanks for playing again for playing with us at SUO Challenges!

  2. Oh how wonderful!!! I love this look...GREAT masculine card! It's amazing what you can do with all the accessories...and a little bit of stamping! Thanks for joining the SUO challenge!
