I was so surprised and pleased as punch to get my first blog award. The Liebster (German word for dearest) award was given to me by Mary. She probably doesn't know it but her blog is under my favorites and I check it daily! I love to see her puppies. She also doesn't know that this award is extra special to me since my family and I will be relocating to Germany at the end of the summer.
Now there are rules for this award although nothing like" should Miss America be unable to fulfill her duties..."
The rules for this award are as follows:
1. Thank your Liebster Blog Award presenter on your blog.
2. Link back to the blogger who presented the award to you.
3. Copy and paste the blog award on your blog.
4. Present the Liebster Blog Award to 5 blogs....of 200 or less followers...who you feel deserve to be noticed.
5. Let them know they have been chosen.
Here are the five blogs that I'm passing this onto:
1. Connie Tumm
2. Anji Clements
3.Joan Robertson
4. Dawn Tidd
5. Sara Smeby
Thank you (Danke) so much Mary. I'm so excited to pass on this honor and make some other bloggers day.

Take me with you!
I sure hope you have enjoyed this hop as much as I have. It is a great excuse for me to get creative. I have seen these cute purses in many spots including this one. I am really liking these new framelits. This project uses the label ones. I don't have the box #2 die (yet) so I modified the body of the purse. If you would like more detailed instructions be sure to leave me a comment. It is the perfect size for some 3 x 3 cards. These ones feature the everyday enchantment DSP. Don't let sale-a-bration end at the end of the month without getting your hands on some of this FREE paper. It is absolutely beautiful and will be used I know for sure on my Mother's Day cards.
This is the last day of our hop so make sure you haven't missed any of the Glitter Queens and make sure you leave a comment for my blog candy give away to be announced on Saturday.

Getting your chicks in a row
Are you like me? Do you sit sometimes and say...well I don't have an Easter set :( Although this is sometimes the perfect excuse to get a new set sometimes you just need to think about what sets you do have. As you can tell from my header I love the set Best of Everything. Here I have made the card very spring like just by picking a particular color palate. And I'll take any excuse to use our new baker's twine. This card is a wisteria wonder base with a layer of the in color DSP. I wrapped three colors of the bakers twine and then stamped the bird image in daffodil delight, calypso coral and lucky limeade. The image is on whisper white and punched with the 1 1/4" circle punch then mounted on matching card stock punched by the 1 3/8" circle punch. I added a small flower and a pearl to each. The Happy Easter comes from the Teeny Tiny Wishes set punched with the word window twice.
Now what is that in front of the card...that's my new key chain made with the twitterpated fabric. The idea and tutorial for it come from my latest obsession interest...Pinterest. If you haven't tried it you'll love it. Here is the link to that tutorial. I can't wait to make this with the new fabric Stampin' Up! is releasing soon.
Remember to check all the Glitter Queen's sites for more fabulous and inspiring spring projects. If you're here first make sure you start back at Dee's.

Hop into Spring
Some of you may have seen this project of mine last year. It was on my other blog before I became an SU demo so there is some stuff on there that is not SU (shocking I know). But this is still a favorite project of mine and I'll be whipping some up for my son's pre-school class. The punch art is inspired by
Mercedes Weber and the slider chocolate bar was done on a larger scale by Dawn who made a wonderful video on how to put it together. The Hershey bunny bars are now in your Easter isle at any store. For a run down on the measurements and a step by step photo tutorial please visit http://theplainscrafter.blogspot.com/2011/03/theyre-multiplying.html.
